Nepalese hackers hacked BSNL- Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited website

A group of hackers have hacked the Intranet site of Indian stated owned telecom operators BSNL, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited on 26 May 2020. This attack was done in row, following the disputes arise after Nepal issue the new map including Lipulekh pass, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura.

This BSNL attack came as an defence to teach the Indian cyber warriors. However, the two hackers @MYSTICALBrahma and @satan_cyber_god have clearly stated that they don’t want any cyber war and wants to stop such activities as this is not good. They also insist that they love peace, which can be seen in the below tweet.

BSNL is the country’s fourth largest stated owned telecom operators having 60% occupancy in landline telephone. Earlier in  July 2017, BSNL had a cyber attack which affected south India, especially Karnataka, when a malware affected Telco’s broadband network using a modem having default passwords. This virus reportedly affected 60,000 modems and blocked internet connectivity

Following the BSNL attack, they also disclosed the Indian persons involving in cyber war. They even want the Indian Police to catch them, which they have been started to hack the Nepali sites at first.

On 25 May, a group of Indian cyber hackers @INDcybertroops @icrewhackers @gh0575p3c706 have hacked the Nepali different sites including more than 20 school, national library and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Many public urged to stop this unnecessary war which is not beneficial but still some minority are enjoying this chaos. Utmost, this have teach a big lesson on how fracture the cyber security is laying. In near future, more security will be likely to be adopted by the professionals in the digital world.
