Ncell banned unregistered social media

Ncell, the private largest telecom sector in Nepal have issued a notice to ban the unregistered 26 different social media citing the governing authority decision.

Ncell noitce tell that, other platform like Viber and TikTok which are registered under Nepal Government, can be seamlessly browsed with their network.

Altogether 26 social media including Mark’s Meta’s Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram with Youtube and Hamropatro are being restricted to surf through their network.

Likewise, Nepal telecom also have restricted the 26 different social media through their network.

Many People argue on both sides as some argue that, If Viber and TikTok can be registered in Nepal, why not other platform? while some argue Nepal is leading to North Korea stage through banned of social media.
