Nepal Telecom have banned the unregistered 26 social media platform through the direction of the Nepal Telecommunication Authority.
Nepal government have given direction to NTA yesterday, 4th September to ban the unregistered social media. Following the government decision, Nepal Telecom NT, have issued a notice citing that social media will be restricted.
These are the 26 social media including Facebook, YouTube, HamroPatro will be banned.
Likewise, TikTok and Viber is already registered and is in use. So, Nepal Government urges the social media giants to register and comply the Nepal rules.
Similarly, Ncell already have issued the similar notice regarding 26 social media banned.
